Dr. Austin Mietz PT, DPT
Hi everyone, I'm Austin Mietz, a physical therapist and performance coach committed to helping athletes and active individuals take control of their pain and their bodies.
My treatment philosophy is simple, I strive to pay close attention to the movement that you have control over in order to provide YOU with the knowledge and skills to move better so that YOU can find relief, improve recovery, and enhance performance. Increasing self-awareness and independency is the key to progress, and I hope I can help guide you there!
I grew up playing football, basketball and baseball throughout high school and then went on the play collegiate football at Edinboro University. I couldn't have had a better experience, but I suffered my fair share of injuries along the way, which introduced me to the physical therapy profession. While at school, I served as the President of the University Exercise Science Club and was responsible for coordinating the launch of the University's personal training program. During my final semester, I was able to work as the Associate Strength and Conditioning coordinator for all athletics. After graduating, I attended D'Youville College for my postgraduate education and have since been working in outpatient orthopedics. I have always had a passion for exercise and human movement and have helped hundreds of individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. Starting Attentive Mobility Physical Therapy has given me the opportunity to provide optimal treatment and to provide the best experience possible for each and every person I work with. I'm beyond excited to help!

You'll get to know more about me when we first meet and I am looking forward to learning more about you!
