What makes us different?

Attentive Mobility Physical Therapy is a clinic designed to help individuals understand their bodies, in order to understand their pain. Empowerment through movement and self-awareness is what allows us to provide a service that is rare in the rehab industry. Through years of experience and having helped hundreds of people achieve their pain free goals, we pride ourselves on our ability to "pay close attention to the movement you have control over," so we can better understand YOU as an individual and create the most effective plan of care as possible. â€‹â€‹

We utilize 3 Phases of Progression
to help you better understand your rehab process.

Phase 01

  • Create Movement and Control Movement

Based on your assessment, if you lack movement, we try and create more. If you have the movement but lack control over that movement, we try and improve that control. Or if lack both then we aim to improve both! This is the pain relief phase.

The goal of this phase is to bring awareness to the movement you may be lacking, or movement you're lacking control over, and then find a way to begin improving this control, in a pain free manner!

You will be thoroughly coached through 2 or 3 exercises, specific to YOU, that we will aim to progress week over week.

Phase 02

  • Progress Tolerance via Intensity and Variability

After we find pain relief, we aim to build tolerance by progressing load, frequency, and speed of movements. This is where we begin utilizing more assessment tools in order to measure progress and give us a better idea of when we are ready for Phase 3, or the "Return to Sport or Activity" phase.

The goal of this phase is to continue to improve body control and overall work capacity of specific musculature by increasing strength, power, and coordination through a variety of movements. This phase tends to look more like typical "training sessions" or workouts.

Phase 03

  • Return to Sport or Activity

We have achieved pain free movement, progressed through measurable strength and power gains, and are now ready to get back to our sports and activities, PAIN FREE.

The goal of this phase is to prioritize the movements that we find most necessary to maintain our abilities to perform in a pain free manner. As well as implementing specific load management strategies and proper recovery.
